EP25: Don’t Compare Your Beginning to Someone Else’s Middle
Ep. 25 of the Empowered Podcast is my very first solo show!
This week I drove up to Dallas to hear a friend of mine speak to a large group. On my way back to Austin, I stopped in to see a few college friends and see how their businesses were doing. Two friends had partnered up to start a law firm, and the third friend was the owner of a successful real estate business.
Seeing their success made me question what I was doing and led me to judge myself. I was reminded of a valuable lesson that I share in this episode!
What I want you to take away from this episode:
Don't judge your beginning against someone else's middle.

Ellory, thank you for being such a great friend. I appreciate you raising the awareness of my podcast and speaking engagement. It is hard sometimes not to look at others and wish you were where they are. I do that sometimes too. I generally, like you, then realize I am on my own journey and I can’t compare it to anyone else’s journey. Keep bringing great content.
You’re welcome James! I’m proud of you man =)
