Episode 26 of the Empowered Podcast features, my friend, fellow Baylor Alumni, and a key person in the Dallas real estate market, Todd Tramonte.
When I sat down with Todd, I really wanted to know why he'd decided to start a real estate business in a very saturated market. I wanted to know what it was like recruiting, training, and developing a large and very successful team. What I learned about Todd and his business was awesome.

Todd's Mission:
Provide the absolute most valuable expertise, counsel and direction through the home selling and buying process and ensure that it is fun by working as a team of experts each complimenting each others' strengths.
How Todd defines empowerment:
“To remind people every day of their abilities. To give them the opportunity and the room to succeed and to fail. To give them power over their own future.”
What Todd and I talked about:
When you decided to do what you're doing now, what types of Resistance did you face?
Nine out of ten people thought I was crazy. But that's typical – nine out of ten people always want to take the safe route.
How did you face and overcome those challenges?
“Once I committed towards building something new, I had to make the decision, lock it in and not look back.”
What are you doing today that will keep you moving forward tomorrow?
“Running, managing and leading my core business in Dallas. I'm also consulting and training other leaders in the country.”
Since you decided to face your fears and charge forward, what have you stopped doing?
“Saying no is an area of weakness for me. I have to learn to be better at saying no to things I want to do. I've had to cut back on concerts and playing softball with my buddies.”
