How Rick defines empowerment:
“When I think of empower I think of helping somebody else and really giving them the tools and motivation and information to go out into the world to do bigger things than they might expect of themselves.”
What Rick and I talked about:
When you decided to do what you're doing now, what types of Resistance did you face?
“I was crazy. Big resistance on all accounts. I was worried because I was going out on my own for the first time and it was really scary.”
What challenges did you overcome when you first started out?
“It was really the transition from a full-time job to owning my own schedule. I was thinking what did I just do? Did I make the right decision? I don't think that ever goes away for entrepreneurs.”
How did you face and overcome those challenges?
“It's about mindset. You have to believe that you are going to be successful in this. You really can't have that doubt whether you are going to succeed or not.”
What are you doing today that will keep you moving forward tomorrow?
“Podcast interviews for my show and others, mastermind meetings and I am launching a Facebook advertising course.”
