Lawana's Mission:
I became the Emotional Wellness Doctor. I teach people to manage their emotions and stress to have an amazing life.
How Lawana defines empowerment:
Empowerment comes through knowledge and confidence. Fear is high when knowledge is low. So the knowledge paired with the confidence is what really empowers people.
What Lawana and I talked about:
When you decided to do what you're doing now, what types of Resistance did you face?
People kept saying, “Are you sure? You're going to leave your comfort and go out into the unknown….are you sure?” When I came to a place when I was not going to focus just on education, I became unsure of myself because I didn't know what problem I was solving.
How did you face and overcome those challenges?
I had to empower myself with the knowledge to become confident in what I was doing.

- You have to have a plan
