Dan & Joe's Mission:
To go head to head each and every week debating the hottest topics in entrepreneurship and online businesses.
How Dan & Joe define empowerment:
Dan: Giving yourself the ability to blaze your own trail rather than following someone else's. Getting outside of your comfort zone and giving yourself permission to do it.
Joe: Thinking creatively; what is happening in front of me isn't by chance but because I'm creating it. Taking control of your life; you create the path to go where you want.
What we talked about:
What is the best way to empower other people?
When you decided to do what you're doing now, what types of Resistance did you face?
Dan: We are full-time employees for someone else….does that make me disingenuous in saying that I'm an entrepreneur? Am I being disingenuous to my employer because I'm spending so much time, energy and money on another passion?
Joe: I hit walls when I start over-thinking things and I start caring about what other people think. Which is something you shouldn't do, especially when you're in a space that a lot of your friends and family don't understand much less know anything about. I realized that I can recognize and accept that those types of conversations may make me uncomfortable and vulnerable but I don't need to try to fix it or push it on them.
How do you unwind and relax?
Joe: play guitar; read; spend time with his wife and dog; sometimes plays Madden.
What was the last movie you saw?
Dan: Bad Grandpa
Joe: About Time or Hope Springs
EPIC Question: What is one tip, or one piece of advice you can give people who are just starting?
Dan: Be yourself and don't be afraid to show that self to other people; especially as an introvert it has always been difficult for me .
Joe: Learn the value of providing of value in a networking relationship; Don't waste time on vanity numbers.

You have no idea! She was cracking up in the office and disturbing my Battlefield 4 playing.
