Who I Learned from in August 2013
I'm all about personal development. As you know, I read a lot, listen to podcasts, watch videos, and many other things to help me be a better leader, husband, and friend.

The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.
– Mark Twain

Question: Who should I learn from this month? Any resources you could share with me? What, or who, are you learning from?
Thanks for sharing your resources Ellory! I’m going to look into the Starve the Doubts podcast, I already listen to the other two. One book I’m currently reading (and LOVE) is a short book called “Business for the Glory of God” by Wayne Grudem.
Wesley, thanks for commenting and you’re welcome! Starve the Doubts is hosted by a new friend of mine, Jared. He and I met a few months ago and his podcast is exploding! I’ll take a look at the book you suggested; I just bought 3 more last night so it may have to wait a while!
Thanks Wesley!

Thanks for the mention, Ellory. Right now I’m learning from you, Floyd at ThereGoI, Dan Black, Tom Dixon, Jon Stolpe, and many more. But I’ve also made an intentional effort to read more books. I find that hard to do when my focus is on writing, blogging and promoting, so I cut back. Currently, I’m learning from Neil Young in his memoir “Waging Heavy Peace.”
Dan, I’m humbled that you’re learning from me and happy that I can contribute to your life. Keep up the reading!

I imagine you’ve read it already, but I just recently finished “Entreleader” by Dave Ramsey and really enjoyed it. Filled with great ideas and real life stories straight from inside a great business.
David, you are right, I have read EntreLeadership. It’s a great book. For me it was encouraging to see that someone as influential and famous as Dave started with small beginning, just as many of us are. Any others you’d recommend I add to my list?
Thank you for your comment and for stopping buy!
