But now it's time. It's time for you to take action now. It's time for you to put all of your preparation into practice.

It's time for you to begin.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed. If you're like me, and I think you are, you've been waiting for the right time to move, the right time to act, and the right time to go. You've been waiting for the right moment to claim as your own, to stand up and say, “Here I am!”

But the right moments rarely come. Sure, there are some days when everything seems to be going right, but today isn't one of those days. But today is all that we have.

This is my open letter to entrepreneurs. This is my letter to you.

Dear Aspiring Entrepreneur,

Over the past several months, we've had quick chats on the phone. We've sent late night tweets and mid-morning Facebook messages. We've talked about our hopes, our dreams, our passions and our goals. We've talked about what we're up to, what we're reading, and who we hope to meet.

But the time for waiting, talking and planning has passed. The time for doing has come.

Over the past few years, we have both changed. You and I have grown, we have struggled and stumbled. Yet here we are. We have arrived at today.

Too many ideas have gone forgotten. Too many emotions have gone buried and put off for another time or some other place. What motivated you yesterday has been forgotten and replaced with the hope of tomorrow.

But tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Tomorrow is a myth. Tomorrow is an unattainable promise we can never actually reach. Tomorrow will always be there but will never be here.

While you and I sat and planned for tomorrow's arrival, the power of today has slipped through our fingers.

So here is my request, my hope, and my wish, for you.

My request is that you take the power of today and hold it in your hands. My request is that you recognize the power you've been given and have been blessed with. My request is that you stop taking today for granted like we've done for so long.

My hope is that you'll take all of the studying, praying, and practicing and put them to good use. You ARE prepared. You are. You've proven it to me time and time again. My hope is that you start to believe it too. My hope is that you'll believe in yourself like I believe in you.

My wish is for everything to align, for everything to be smooth sailing. But I know that an easy path won't happen. I know that smooth sailing won't help you become stronger, and you can't become a warrior if you've never fought a battle. My wish is for you to be successful beyond your wildest dreams.

But I know success won't happen over night. I know that to reach the finish line you'll first have to go through the trenches.

You'll stumble. You'll fall. But I know you'll get back up again. I know you're capable and that you're strong enough to do this.

This is my letter to you, my friend, my colleague, my sisters, and brothers.

This letter is for you.
